I received a text from a sweet friend: “God has led you to it and God will get you through it.”
Received this comment from another sweet friend on Facebook: “Where God guides, He will provide.”
And then reminded in a Facebook fast group of Mark 11:24: ask, believe, receive.
The drudgery of less than pleasant days clouds the fact that all we have to do is ask, believe and receive. Regardless of the situation, it is just that simple.
As I sit here with preacher at the hospital at day number 7 and visit number 3, we forget…I forget that HE still provides. All we have to do is ask, believe, and receive. We don’t have to shoulder all the pain or deal with it without help. People support may come and go, but HE is constant, steady, a very present help in the time of storm. And I can ask for HIS help, as often as I need it.
We may tire, but he does not. HIS resources are never exhausted. For HIS grace is made perfect in weakness.
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
